Need help my blackberry 8130 won’t work my battry died went to charge it didnt work wont turn on at all tryed charging it with usb and still nothing please help me fix this problem

Hey guys. I’m pretty new to the BB world, but I want to get one to use as a second phone. I found a 8110 [vodafone] [unlocked] Blackberry Pearl, and my question is, should I get it? I would update the OS to 4.5 after I got it, but, is it a good phone to have? And questions like that.

When I go into my calendar and I go into options, I have it set that it keeps my events forever. HOWEVER, if I look back a week or more they are all GONE.. How do I fix this.:confused:

I downloaded a zip file with a theme in it, now I got filescout, with it I can unzip the file, but I have no idea what folder to put it in. Any help?

hi ive got yhis bb pearl 8120 i have the 507 error,ive wipe the OS with jl cmnder,download the OS vervion 4.5,now when i open the app loader it detects the bb fine and the pin when instaling the OS the bb restart when loading modules,i get error the app loader could not connect to your device.:mad::confused::( whats wrong with this phone or the software :mad:

Can my phone handle a card bigger than 2gb??? If so, what is the max

Yesterday out of nowhere, my phone reboots. Not a new problem, it does it all of the time. But when it came back up, I could not view any of my pictures or videos. I ended up having to format my card, which of course whiped all of my stuff. Now, when I try to video, I get the message to insert formatted media card. And on my options menu and media card menu, it says media card cannot be read, verify that the card is formatted. Now what is wrong? What do I do?

So this morning I was going thru my pictures that I took last nite, I had it hooked up to the pc. Everytime the cord would get bumped it would basically disconnect then reconnect (very annoying) anyway, I got a message during all of this that said something about my media card having errors or something. So I ran a repair and now over half my pictures aren’t there! I’ve done a battery pull, twice. I’m out of ideas on where they could have gone and how to get them back. :( HEELLLP!!

I have a BlackBerry 8130 with cricket [refurbished] and when trying to down load app world, it says I’m not compatible. Is this because of my carrier, phone, or os? (Idk what the os is, or how to find out what version it is but I was surfing the forums and it apparently has a lot to do with what you can do with your phone. [yep I'm a newbie.] os stands for operating system, right?) please, if any of you answers are really detailed, could you please explain them? I’m really lost here. :D

Just bought a used 8110 and the trackball isn’t working the greatest. My question is actually two parts.

1) Is the trackball module from a Curve 8310 compatable with the Pearl 8110?

2) How would I change them if they are compatable?

i have a black berry pearl 8110 for att but i want to download stuff to my phone free items such as themes and ring tones etc… but i dont have a data plan and it cost me my mins to use the internet. i also got the phone from some one so i did not get the install disc that comes in the box with the phone. where can i download the soft ware for free and do i need the blackberry desktop also ?.

and the bb messenger i have it on my phone and i guess it works but i cant talk to anyone on it i dont know how to add the contact like i got there pin to add but im lost after that and does it need the data plan to work ?

if some can explain this to me that would be great im also getting a pearl with wifi so if anyone needs a pearl let me know cause ill be selling my 8110 once i get the one with wifi.

I have my Pearl hooked up to the Bluetooth handsfree in my Nissan cube (yes, I drive a cube), and it seems whenever I place or receive a call through the Bluetooth the phone does not want to come back to life.
I put my BlackBerry in standby mode (by pressing the mute key) every time I’m not using it. If I happen to make a call through the Bluetooth, the phone takes quite a while to respond when I try to use it afterwards. The screen remains black (though the phone is definitely on – if I have a message, the light continues flashing), no matter which buttons I press until it eventually kicks in, anywhere from a few seconds later to so long I get frustrated and take the battery out. When it finally does kick in, it just pops up with the "In standby mode. Press the mute key to exit standby mode," message and then works normally after that.
Anyone else have this problem with Bluetooth through a vehicle?
