I just switched from a 9700 to an unlocked 9800 and after doing the switch device wizard and then moving and revalidating my accounts one of my Gmail accounts keeps saying my password is incorrect.

More info:
-2 other Gmail accounts work fine.
-tried entering password on the BIS site and on the phone.
-logged into gmail and changed my password, still won’t take new password.
-Tried delete this Gmail account from the BIS and re-adding, still won’t take my password.
-Logged in gmail setting and confirmed both pop3 and imap are enabled.
-my 3 other non-gmail accounts all work fine.

Any ideas? How can I fix this?

Is there any trusted anti-virus software I can download directly to my 8330?

I’m excited to have finally registered an account here at CrackBerry!
I’m not unfamiliar with this forum. I read reviews regularly, and have read a few threads on the forums.
I’m also looking into buying a Blackberry Bold 9700, even though I’m a sophomore.
I have read that it is an excellent device, with a wonderfully intuitive hardware design and operating system. I want a Blackberry so I can integrate and combine all of my data, online activity, and manage my tasks and activities (I have quite enough of these :o).

So, my questions are:

"Why did you need a Blackberry?" and "Why did you want a Blackberry?"

I recently added my friend’s screen name onto my AIM buddylist. I got his screen name from his facebook page. Later, when I signed onto AIM on my Bold 9700, I was surprised to see that he wasn’t listed as his screen name, rather, his actual name appeared instead. Where did the connection come from? I do have the FB app on my phone and I’m wondering if it has something to do w/ it?

I have a Tour 9630 and absolutely love it. However, I cannot seem to load any applications/themes/etc. through the Blackberry Desktop Manager and it is pissing me off!!!!

When I download and save an OTA link to my computer, I plug in my Blackberry and start up the desktop manager. I try to use the application loader, but it will only search and recognize .alx files. Unfortunately, those files are very small and the ones usually accompanying them are larger, .cod files. The desktop manager will not load (or even recognize) those files and I dont understand why. It says my BB cannot support it….which is not true.

Also, when the .alx file is loaded, I can view the application, but it does not install on the actual Blackberry.

I am beating my head off the freakin wall trying to figure this out….
It’s not an out of date Desktop Manager because it syncs and searches for updates whenever I load it.

ANY HELP!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Last night I was selling some stuff on ebay and the related emails get delivered to my yahoo account. This time I was on my laptop and at the end of the auctions I opened the emails on my laptop first. When I looked at the phone for the red light I couldn’t see it, I initially thought they never got delivered but when I opened messages folder there they were, in the folder but marked as read.
I know gmail can’t do this yet but wasn’t aware yahoo could.

When every i need blackberry help this forum is great. unfortunatly my problem is not with a blackberry. My daughter dropped her new LG sentio(GS-505) from t-mobile, LCD screen is broken and im having the hardest time finding a place that sells LCD screens, if it were a blackberry no problem :D

Anyone out there that knows a website that i can find the part, i have no insurance and i really dont want to fork out another $200.

I recently down-loaded some free apps from this site and in the process had an unrecognized "earth-link" e-mail address automatically show-up during the set-up in several of these apps.

I don’t know if my soon-to-be-ex or his "techie friends" have managed to hack-into into my locked Curve, my work-based BES e-mail account (he has actually done this at least once), my g-mail account (never accessed from my home-computer), or if I’m just being paranoid.

I would like to locate the source of this e-mail address on my BB and give the information to my lawyer, if it is something to be concerned about and minimally delete it from my Curve. I did not recognize anything in the Service Books.

Obviously, it’s probably easy to see why he is my soon-to-be-ex. The "Kisses App" did not identify anything. Are there any suggestions??

Hi, I have a bold 9700 with AT&T. I currently have my aim.com account set up with my blackberry with no problems. BUT I recently set up another email account for my detailing business. My email address is Scott@Scotts-Detailing.com. My website provider I go through is webs.com. When I try to set up this email account I get an error message stating "Invalid email address or password. Verify your email address and password. If the error persists, contact scotts-detailing.com." Is my website provider / email provider not compatible with my blackberry or is there something I’m doing wrong? any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated! thank you in advance!

Storm 9530 turns on but screen stays black. Any suggestions?
