Blackberry PDA Tech!

Alright so here’s the deal, my Blackberry Bold which is in perfect condition for a Iphone 3gs 16gig(perfect condition) plus 130 dollars. Is this a fair deal?

I had a BB for about 3 1/2 years and switched from an 8900 to an iPhone 3GS in June. I had a Pearl prior to the 8900. I returned the 8900 within the 30 day hassle free return window. The touchscreen is great for browsing, apps, games and a few other things, but is not that great for typing emails in my opinion. I miss the full QWERTY keyboard. The BB has true push email and you can do more customization with the device. If BB could come close to the iPhone’s Safari browser and customization, I would jump back in an instant. The killer browsing experience on the iPhone is the only thing that could hold me from going back to BB. I do tons of browsing on my iPhone. I guess the BB browser is just ok and the Safari browser is great. I even miss the LED light on the BB and a few other minor things, but they are a big deal to me. These are some reasons why I would go back.

Just so you know, I have my eye on the upcoming 9700.

So I have done some searching here on CB aswell as Google and couldn’t find anything worthwhile? Is there a way, whether it be through ATT or another provider, that I can buy an iphone and get data only on it?

I’m soon switching over to the iphone 3gs for working purposes, so I’m gonna be dropping my tour and verizon. I just renewed my contract in late august. Is there any way they might pay for the 175 dollar cancellation fee? Should I approach them with the question or would they look at me like a have 3 heads?

Looking at getting my first smart phone and think the iphone might be it. Was wondering if there are any things i can try to bring my bill down.

I will be switching from verizon. I have not switched carriers in a long time is there anyway you can talk them into added some free stuff. For instance if i tell them i will switch today if they give me 1,000 text messages a month will they bite and do it? AT&T text message rates are absurd so this could save me 10 bucks a month.

In general just looking for some tips that may help cut back the cost.
Also i am a student so ill see if they give student discounts through my university which would be nice.

Any info would be great!

My friend just informed me about this service with Skype that he uses. For $2.95 CAD he can call unlimited Canada and the USA.

1. Does that take from the air time? (even though it uses wifi)

2. If you receive a call, is that taken from the air time?

3. If you want to dial a number, do you have to do it through skype or you can just dial it normally?

OK so I have a bb bold and am upgrading to a iphone 3G. Do I need to change my data plan to the iphone immediatley (thus getting the protation charges) or can I just use my bb data plan until the end of my billing cycle which is 11/08/2009?

Hey guys I need some help. I was just trying to jailbreak my friends Iphone 3g 8GB using blackra1n. It froze or something half way through and is now stuck on the screen with the globe and the white cord. I dont know what to do. iTunes doesnt recognize it and whenever I try to hold down the power button + home button nothing happens. I dont know what to do, please help me.

I just updated from 3.1 to 3.1.2 last night, what are the changes from the two?

Is there any way to get a wallpaper that appears on the phone’s main screen(where it says "slide to unlock") to also appear on the icon screen instead of it just having a plain black background?
